It doesn't take much for America to laugh these days . . . that's what Scary Movie 4 is using as an excuse to make it to the top of the weekend top earners chart with 41 million dollars. All you're doing is paving the way for a Scary Movie 5 America, please, stop this cycle of abuse. I'm sure Anna Farris can find work somewhere else. Ice Age is still printing money for Dreamworks, although I personally thought that it would out do the spoof movie. Benchwarmers keeps warming up the third position, not fazed by Disney's derivative The Wild, which only managed to tame 9 million bucks from parents across the nation.
The Antonio Banderas still knows how to dance feature Take the Lead is not doing all that bad for itself. Unfortunately for Lucky Number Slevin, it missed the Pulp Fiction-wannabe train by about 7-10 years, and now is sitting at the "not so profitable number 7" spot. Thank You for Smoking opened up wide and makes a welcome entry into the top ten, sadly in the 8th spot, but above Failure to Launch which keeps failing to exit my memory. It's like a bad cold. It just doesn't want to leave. Finally, rounding out the top 10 is one of the reasons I get a lot of traffic here, V for Vendetta. Although, not a whole lot of people want to know what I thought of it, but rather are looking for pictures of Natalie Portman in the schoolgirl outfit she wore in that movie . . . perverts. *ahem*If you find a screencap of that . . . send it my way.*ahem*
