Red Band Cop Out Trailer

I've seen a couple of "Cop Out" trailers out there, but this one is by far the funniest. Most likely due to all the cussing and dick jokes. Which I'm all for. I might be in the early nascent stages of my 30's, but I'm still a pubescent teen at heart. "Cop Out" stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan and is directed by Kevin Smith. He didn't write this one, which is why I think most of the marketing is downplaying his actual involvement in the movie. No matter who wrote this movie, I'm sure he can coax a good performance out of an actor. I've never seen something Smith hasn't written, so I'm actually curious to see if he's also grown as a director. "Cop Out" hits theaters at the end of this month.

Hit Girl Gets Red Band Kick Ass Trailer

Come April 2010, everyone's going to be talking about "Kick Ass". Being currently touted as the most irresponsibly violent movie in recent history, it puts children (or young adolescents) into extremely violent situations with some truly entertaining results. I'm going to watch this. Specially now, since I saw the 11 year old character from the movie, "Hit Girl", wailing on some mafia dudes with a visceral finesse usually found in much older assassins. Check out the red band trailer (I know, she says "fucking with you") for more severed limbs and bullet holes than you can shake a stick at.

Jennifer's Body Red Band Trailer

If you were thinking to yourself lately: "I want to see Megan Fox in a movie, but I don't care much for giant transforming robots and Shia LeBoeuf", then I'm pretty sure that "Jennifer's Body" is the movie you've been waiting for. It's also the new one from Diablo Cody, ex-stripper turned screenwriter that gave us the delightfully sarcastic "Juno". And it's a red-band trailer, so you know that either skin is displayed or cursing happens. So, why are you still reading this, check out the trailer. You don't want all the cool kids thinking you're not hip.

Thirst'y for a Red Band Trailer

"Thirst" is the latest from Park Chan-Wook, director of "Oldboy", and it looks pretty fucking amazing. This, along with "Let the Right One In" are doing much more for the vampire horror sub-genre than any "Twilight" movie is. In fact, I think the "Twilight" phenomenon is diluting what a vampire movie should be all about. Check out the trailer, courtesy of IGN, and get ready for this movie, which is coming out at the end of July.

Observe and Report on this Red Band Trailer

I know there's a certain "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" movie out there that might have ruined the whole "mall security guard" comedy sub-genre. I haven't watched it, but I heard it was terrible. His name rhymes with fart? No wonder it stinks. If you still have faith in the humor that comes from your mall security staff, then "Observe and Report" is the movie for you. And it's so bad ass, that the studio decided to put out a red band trailer for it. I could have sent you to the movie's webpage, but you have to go through some ridiculous age verification process. But Youtube didn't seem to have this problem. So kids, get your watching eyes ready. This movie has the great Seth Rogen in it. Anna Faris is playing "the hot girl" and even Ray Liotta is in it. Check out the trailer, and get ready to revisit the mall on April 10th.

I Love You, Man Red Band Trailer

I am no big fan of chick flicks. But, "I Love You, Man" just might make me change my opinion of these types of movies. I guess you could say that this is your typical pre-wedding type of movie, but with swear words a-plenty and some cringe-inducing moments. Which are two of things I love the most. It helps that the producers of this movie realized that the only way to get guys into this movie was to throw them a red band trailer. So, between this, and the fact that my wife laughed her ass off through most of this trailer, it's becoming a solid reality that come March 20th, we're going to be in the theater for this one. Check out the trailer, take your significant other to this movie, and then get some oral sex after. Everyone will be happy.

Broken Lizard's Slammin' Salmon Red Band Trailer

I love me some Broken Lizard movies. "Super Troopers", "Club Dread" and "Beerfest" hold a special place in my heart. We can forget "Puddle Jumper" ever happened. I mean, it was their first movie. Let's consider that an audition to greatness. But, their new movie is coming out, and sadly, it's not the hinted at sequel to "Beerfest" that was supposed to take place in Amsterdam. This new one is called "Slammin' Salmon", and the guys were gracious enough to cut a red ban trailer for this one. For those not in the know, these type of trailers own the crap out of the regular trailers you'd see in the theaters. Special thanks to Collider for hosting the adult version of this trailer. Check it out and look for this in theaters later this year.

Sex Drive Red Band Trailer

I've seen some advertising for this movie out and about on the interwebs, but I didn't know much about it. Until I saw the red band trailer for "Sex Drive", and now I know it looks like a hilarious fucking movie. Don't know who the two main characters are, but there are a couple of supporting cast members (I'm looking at you Seth Green and James Mardsen) that, as far as the trailer is concerned, are turning in superb performances. It's likely that this movie might go unnoticed upon it's release. Do yourself a favor and check this out.

Hell Ride Red Band Trailer

By now, you should know that I have a predilection for the red band trailers. So I'll post as many of them as I can find. Why? Because they're always much more kick ass than your regular, run of the mill trailer. The latest one I found is for "Hell Ride", a Quentin Tarantino produced movie about bikes, beer, and booty. Micheal Madsen, David Carradine, Vinnie Jones and the great Dennis Hopper star in this movie, which just looks fun as hell. Check out the trailer kids. It features a split second of boobies.

Mirrors - Red Band Trailer

I hadn't heard much about this movie, but it is directed by Alexandre Aja, who directed the great "The Hills Have Eyes" remake and also made the thoroughly intense "High Tension (Haute Tension)". I heard there was a tamer trailer out there for "Mirrors", but fuck that. It's all about the red-band-trailers around here. I love them. And with good reason. This movie looks fan-fucking-tastic. Keifer Sutherland looks like he's genuinely losing it here, and poor Amy Smart . . . that's fucked up right there. Mouths shouldn't open that way. Anyway, enjoy the video, and don't forget to verify your age, kiddies.
