SkyNet is Next

Umm . . . this is how the machines rise up and take over the world, right? First, it starts with solving rubick's cubes, and then a Cyberdine Systems T-101 model is knocking on your door asking if you're "Sarah Connor". While slightly chilling, the "Tilted Twister" is fairly impressive. Built using only Lego's Mindstorms NXT retail kit, this thing first scans the cube, then totally solves it. It takes a while for the video to impress, but when it gets sped up at 2x speed, it's something awesome to behold. Check out the guy's (and possibly the cause for the downfall of humanity) website here to learn how he did it.

Oh crap, that's amazing. And with LEGOs. I was just wistfully looking at the LEGO catalog last night.

I'm going to have to post this on the Jump House or something
